Yanal Staiti is a Palestinian musician and percussion and theory teacher. He studied traditional oriental percussion with Tariq Rantisi at the Al Kamandjati association in Jenin. Yanal was a member of the Palestine Arab Music Ensemble and the Ramallah Symphony Orchestra. He further expanded his musical skills by studying classical percussion at the Bordeaux Conservatory in France, where he also explored jazz and contemporary improvisation. Since September 2018, Yanal has been working as a percussion and theory teacher, as well as an academic and artistic coordinator with the Alkamandjati association. He has performed in various festivals around the world, including the WOMAD festival in Australia and New Zealand. With his diverse musical background and dedication to teaching, Yanal continues to inspire and engage audiences through his captivatingnbsprhythms.
