Fuad Foty
Fuad Foty is an accomplished oud instrumentalist, vocalist, and music instructor with over three decades of experience. He is also a specialist and mathematical statistician at the U.S. Census Bureau. From a young age, Fuad immersed himself in classical Arabic music and quickly became a key member of various Arab bands, touring nationally and spreading his love for music and culture. He and his wife, Mona El-Bayoumi, have raised their children in a musical environment, resulting in a unique fusion of Arabic folk, opera, rap, jazz, and more. Fuad not only performs captivating shows but also shares his knowledge through lectures and as a co-founder of Quartertonez music, a platform dedicated to Arabian music. He currently teaches private students through Quartertonez, showcasing the enduring power of music to inspire andnbspconnectnbsppeople.

Fairouz Foty
Fairouz Foty has become a sought out full-lyric soprano in the DC metropolitan area for some years now. She has sung in leading musical performance centers such as The Kennedy Center, Strathmore Hall, the Verizon Center, The Croatian Embassy, The Slovenian Embassy, The Bulgarian Embassy, The Egyptian Embassy, The Anderson House, The Arts Club of Washington, among others. This season she performed the role of Leonora with the Washington Opera Society in Il Trovatore excerpts and other Verdi Operas. She performed at the Argentinian Embassy as part of the Arts for the Aging (AFTA) Gala performance and will be performing at The Kennedy Center Reach Center, The French Embassy, The National Pen Women’s Association among other prominent venues in the DC Metropolitan area this season.

He studied traditional oriental percussion with Tariq Rantisi at the Al Kamandjati association in Jenin. Yanal was a member of the Palestine Arab Music Ensemble and the Ramallah Symphony Orchestra. He further expanded his musical skills by studying classical percussion at the Bordeaux Conservatory in France, where he also explored jazz and contemporary improvisation. Since September 2018, Yanal has been working as a percussion and theory teacher, as well as an academic and artistic coordinator with the Alkamandjati association. He has performed in various festivals around the world, including the WOMAD festival in Australia and New Zealand. With his diverse musical background and dedication to teaching, Yanal continues to inspire and engage audiences through his captivatingnbsprhythms.
